Prescription drug plan (PDP):  

A private drug company.  Medicare will assign every person who receives both Medicare and Medicaid to a PDP.  Each PDP will have its own list of approved drugs and its own drug stores.  The monthly cost you pay will be different depending on the PDP you pick.  You can change your PDP if you want to.
